probably the biggest problem is the fact I am barely able to use my computer and the majority of the time I use the internet from my dad's computer (which doesn't have my site on it, thus preventing me from updating). As I write this I am on my dad's computer. It really sucks how nothing ever seems to work for me anymore. I used to do everything on my computer, but since this *supposed* upgrade I hardly ever use it.. why? well, mainly becuase things are always breaking down on it. Nearly every part has been replaced at least once now, and in fact even though I've already replaced a defective hard drive, this new one I'm using is starting to get quite loud and I fear it will crash in another week or so. It's not that I buy cheap parts either, this was a brand name IBM hard drive. If my own computer ever settles down and becomes a bit more stable, you'll probably see some updates. I'm not giving up on this site just yet, but I won't be promising any huge updates in the future. I think some of the smaller sections such as the movies section or the pretty much now defunct campaign may not be updated anymore, but I will try to see if I can provide some video clips or episode summaries. You may wait a while on that, however. I was not going to deal with large video files until I had a high speed cable or DSL connection. So far, it looks like that'll be at least until summer. The phone company has been promising DSL in my neighborhood for 3 years now.. and they NEVER deliver, plus my dad will not get cable, as he actually works for the phone company, so basically I'm pretty much stuck until something develops in that area. Well, I'll try to keep you all updated from here for now, but until my computer stops acting up, it'll just be more posting to the message board. |
