Change or Delete a Forum?

I am just getting my site together and I need to change the names of some of the forums. I know how to change the name but it doesn't seem to actually change. The problem is, I can't seem to add a new forum (so that I can just let the other one delete itself...) Any help would be appreciated. Sasha

I am having a similar problem. I am trying to delete some forums, and my ftp program tells me that I do not own the forum. I have tried to chmode the directories and files, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
