If you have a busy message board and you don't want to
have your message board stop when you are uploading your
newest script.

You can rename the new script you are ready to upload

From anyboard.cgi to anyboardwillbe.cgi

Then upload the new script to the server cgi-bin (or where ever the cgi scripts are run from on your system).

Then set the permissions for the anyboardwillbe.cgi script (755 I think)

From this point is the only time your message board should stop

Rename the old but currently used script anyboard.cgi to anyboardwas.cgi

Rename the new anyboardwillbe.cgi to anyboard.cgi

Should be working again

You might want to Check the permissions on the anyboard.cgi file.

Joy to All!
