Weird how these urban legends begin, huh?

They're passed on and on, and received from people we trust.  Naturally that helps us believe it.

Not totally immune to being duped by what goes around, I once deleted an important file from my hard disk because someone I trusted said it was a virus.  Because someone she trusted said so.

Here's to Snopes and all other myth debunking sites on this super-highway.
