My husband worked Easter Sunday, so I surprised him with a packed lunch of ham and creamed gravy, devilled eggs and fixings. And then he had ham for another couple of lunches (the parts I didn't scarf off the bone, ha-ha). The leftover with bone is in the icebox to be roasted for flavoring a pot of split pea soup next week. P.S. The gravy was homemade if you don't count that I didn't grow the wheat for the flour or milk the cow. Also didn't raise the pig, nor the chickens for the eggs. Other than that it was a home-cooked meal he had, Righty-o! LOL And how was your day? ;-)
